Self-catering cottages in the Sierra de Aracena

The Sierra de Aracena in South Western Spain, next to the Portuguese Border, is an area of natural beauty, charming villages and a climate, unlike anywhere else in Andalusia, ideal for resting, walking, or trying out the local food in its excellent country restaurants at any time of the year. The area is particularly famous for its ham, known as "Jamón de Jabugo".

Spring arrives in March or even earlier, with a burst of flowers that lasts through to June and temperatures that make holidaying here ideal.
